Grace Cathedral--June 22nd after church
We will leave immediately after church and head to San Francisco to visit Grace Cathedral. The special emphasis for the trip is to experience walking the labyrinth which is in the floor of the cathedral. Labyrinths are sacred prayer paths which have been part of the Christian Church for centuries. The labyrinth at Grace Cathedral is a replica of the labyrinth in the floor of Chartres Cathedral in France, and was built around 1220. Following our time at Grace, we will head down to walk through China Town and along the way we’ll sample some great egg rolls!
Kelley Park--May 17
We had a great day at Kelley Park on May 17th. Andrew, Erin, Fetwti, Nerayo, Selam, Rachel, Sammy, Pastor and Martha, Nardos, and Helmuth enjoyed the beautiful Japanese Garden and the History park. We especially enjoyed the beautiful fish and the baby ducks in the lake. We also took a ride on the trolley. The outing ended at Baskin Robbins for ice cream.
